Voices of nuclear technology
Nuclear technology is multifaceted. And it has many faces.
As the Nuclear Society, we would like to use a campaign format to focus on the people who have shaped this industry - whether still active today or recently retired. With the series "Voices of nuclear technology" we cordially invite you to tell us your personal story: What has shaped you? What motivated you? What challenges have you overcome?
What is it about?
We are looking for personal portraits of people who work or have worked in nuclear technology. The contributions will appear on the KTG website, in the social media and in extracts in the atw - International Journal for Nuclear Power. The aim is to give the industry a face and show how multifaceted, technically sophisticated and humanly approachable it is.
What we need:
- One Short biography (max. 3,000 charactersincluding professional career, formative stages, key experiences)
- A concise quote (max. 800 characters) that summarises your attitude towards nuclear technology or your personal motivation
- A Profile photo in high resolution (at least 630 x 945 pixels(preferably in a working environment, but not mandatory)
- Approval for publication on the KTG channels (website, atw, social media)
We suggest the following questions as guidelines for the content - they do not have to be The answers are not exhaustive, but should serve as a guideline for you:
- How did your professional career begin and what decisions or events had a significant influence on your career path?
- Which project or achievement are you particularly proud of - and why?
- How have your professional goals and priorities changed over time?
- What were the motives or circumstances for this?
What is the goal?
We want to show how different and inspiring the paths in nuclear technology are - beyond employer brands or company profiles. It's about people, not marketing. It's about voices, not slogans.
