Nuclear technology is more than just electricity generation. It ranges from medicine and industry to space travel and defense, as well as isotopes, research, and the development of fusion. Anyone who wants to shape the future of nuclear technology must therefore broaden their perspective – and be prepared to take new paths.

Germany brings something crucial to this: decades of experience, technical know-how, and a strong nuclear community. But experience alone does not create change. Growth occurs where established structures, nuclear societies, industry organizations, and the young generation take responsibility together, work across silos, and leave their comfort zone behind.

In our next KTG online lecture, we will illuminate Thomas Wiese, How such impulses can emerge: through cooperation, new networks, active young generations, and the courage to think holistically about core technologies. What can Germany learn from this – and what can the Nordic countries learn from Germany?
