New board, new energy!
We are delighted to introduce the new Executive Board of KTG Junge Generation. They not only bring expertise, but also a lot of drive:
👩🔬 Jasmin Joshi-Thompson
Scientist at the IKE of the University of Stuttgart, with a focus on AI in reactor safety.
Jasmin is passionate about nuclear research - from nuclear medicine to fusion. She doesn't just want to do research, she also wants to network, organise and help shape the future.
👨🔬 Jakub Bronik (Stuttgart)
Research associate at IKE with stations at SWECO and Framatome.
Jakub believes in nuclear energy as the key to a sustainable energy future - and wants to push the visibility of the industry and bring young professionals together.
👨🔬 Karl Sturm (Lausanne)
PhD student at the Laboratory for Reactor Physics and System Behaviour at the EPFL focussing on fuel rod simulations for fast reactors.
Karl firmly believes in the potential of nuclear energy - for sure! He is not deterred by technical challenges, especially when it comes to the digital infrastructure of the younger generation.
👩🔬 Elvira Martynov (Bochum)
Speaker at the GNS in the area of final disposal of low and intermediate level radioactive waste.
Her enthusiasm for nuclear technology has been with her since a young age - and she wants to pass on this passion. For Elvira, nuclear technology is a matter close to her heart and a technology of the future.
👨🔬 Florian Krist (Bochum)
Research assistant in the field of reactor safety research at the Ruhr University Bochum.
Florian is committed to open dialogue on the safe and peaceful use of nuclear energy. After three exciting years as spokesperson for the JG, he is passing on the baton - and is now supporting the team from the second row.
👩🔬 Andrea Kozlowski (Brunswick)
Researcher in the field of final disposal.
Andrea wants to strengthen and expand the community. After her term of office as Chairwoman of the European Nuclear Society Young Generation Network (ENS-YGN), she is now bringing her international experience and motivation back to her national work.
👉 With this young, dynamic team, the KTG JG is entering a new phase - full of ideas, dialogue and zest for action. Let's go!
