Together with 150 scientific institutions and associations, the KTG has adopted the position paper "Net Zero needs Nuclear" and a declaration as part of the "Nuclear for Climate" initiative, in which all negotiators and political decision-makers at the COP26 world climate conference in Glasgow are called upon to pursue a science-based and technology-neutral energy policy and energy financing that promotes sustainable cooperation between nuclear energy and renewable energies.
