General Meeting 2025 - The Community Meeting

Dear members of the Nuclear Society,

on 17 June 2025 We cordially invite you to this year's KTG General Meeting ins HYPERION Hotel Leipzig in. But this event is far more than just a formal gathering - it is our annual community meetingwhich focusses on exchange, cooperation and the joint advancement of our industry.

Programme

17 June 2025

• 13:00 - 14:30:

  • Meeting of the Specialist group Decommissioning, disposal & radiation protection incl. lecture on the topic "Digitisation measures in nuclear decommissioning" (hybrid)

  • Workshop on shaping the future the young generation (on site)

• 14:30 - 16:45:

  • Meet & Greet with João Pedro Pradothe director of the documentary "Fission". Before the subsequent film screening, João will give us an insight into his motivation and his view of the social debate surrounding the topic of nuclear energy: open, curious and free of black and white painting.

  • Film screening "Fission" - an inspiring insight into the world of nuclear power supporters and opponents

• 17:00 - 18:30: Official KTG general meeting - setting the course for the future together (hybrid)

• 18:30 - 21:00: Joint get-together with representatives of the industry association KernD e.V. - Networking in a relaxed atmosphere

Final disposal compact & in dialogue 
On the evening of our committee day, Mrs Dagmar Dehmer, Dr Monika Kreienmeyer and Mr Peter Duwe will present central repository projects of the BGE in a poster session. From 18:30 the get-together offers the opportunity to discuss current developments on Konrad, Asse, Morsleben and the site search in more detail. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas in an informal atmosphere!

Please note that admission is reserved exclusively for KTG members and is free of charge for them - including the evening get-together. Registration is mandatory.

Overnight stay: Please reserve your room directly at the HYPERION Hotel or alternatively in the neighbouring H2 Hotel Leipzig.
